Saludos from Las Tolas!
The United Llamas had a fantastic couple of days full of adventure, arts and crafts.
We said farewell to Mindo zip lining over its beautiful cloud forest. Here’s our team lined up before getting on the first platform and Eliza and Charlotte doing a “train”

Afterwards we got back to Las Tolas to rest and get ready to work. The following day, we finished the school’s mural! Here’s a picture of Noa painting some of the local kids’ hands to print them as flowers, as well as the final version of the mural.

Later on, we went to see Renee, a local builder, carpenter and artist at his workshop were we learned about all the different seeds and nuts he uses to craft really beautiful art pieces. Here’s a picture of our students choosing amongst many seeds to craft their own bracelets.

And this is Renee showing us how to prepare the materials!

That’s all for now, we’ll update you very soon!
